Several researchers from the Center for Social Research ventured to Seattle, Washington to present at the annual conference of the American Sociological Association.
Topics and presenters include:
CSR affiliate Shauna Morimoto, who presented a paper entitled, "Immigration and English Instruction: The Culture of Secondary Education in the Southern United States."
CSR affiliate Juan Bustamante, who presented a paper entitled, "Eres Illegal o Que? Mexican American Police Officers' Voices on Migration Policy, with Eric Gamino of the University of Texas, Rio Grande.
CSR Co-Director, Patricia Snell Herzog, who gave an invited talk for the Section on Altruism, Morality, and Social Solidarity entiteld, "Generosity: A New Appproach to Studies of Altruism."
